Marko is deeply committed to making advanced trading infrastructure accessible to a wider audience, helping democratize a space that was once an all-boys club reserved for insiders.

Christine Raffan is a senior accounting professional with more than two decades of experience in public practice and corporate finance. She founded her own firm in 2009 after holding key roles at Linamar Machine Ltd., Rockwell International, the Ontario Medical Association, and Hostelling International.

Christine is known for her clear, steady approach to financial reporting, tax strategy, and risk management. She has a talent for making complex financial information feel accessible and useful, helping leadership teams make confident, well-informed decisions. As a trained mediator, she brings a thoughtful, collaborative touch to board discussions, stakeholder alignment, and navigating sensitive business matters.

She works with clients across many industries in the Toronto region and is appreciated for her warm, approachable style and her genuine commitment to supporting people and organizations in achieving long-term success.

Barry Vey brings more than two decades of leadership in procurement, supply chain strategy, and operational execution, built across senior roles at Nortel and Ericsson. His experience includes overseeing global supplier portfolios approaching $1B in annual spend and leading post-acquisition integration of more than 300 suppliers without service disruption.

Throughout his career, Barry drove measurable results through disciplined sourcing, contract renegotiation, and margin-focused vendor strategies, delivering double-digit annual margin improvements, significant cost reductions, and extended lifecycles for legacy infrastructure businesses.

Barry applies this background to Nitrode’s governance, advising on infrastructure scaling, vendor strategy, and operational risk. He supports strategic decision-making with a focus on balancing growth, capital efficiency, and service reliability. Barry holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Diane Brooks is a senior legal professional with extensive experience in banking, finance, and commercial lending. She retired in 2024 from Blaney McMurtry LLP, where she maintained a highly regarded, transaction-focused practice advising financial institutions and corporate clients on complex financing and commercial lending matters.

Prior to joining Blaneys in 2007, Diane served as in-house counsel to major financial institutions, including Royal Bank of Canada and Citibank. This blend of in-house and private-practice experience shaped her pragmatic, business-oriented approach and her ability to provide clear, commercially grounded legal guidance.
